The aptitude tests are a part of the A.P. Moller - Maersk application process. They consist of a personality and a timed logic test to help us evaluate your fit with the team and your cognitive capabilities. Both of the tests are taken online before being called in for a HR interview where an additional on-site retest of the logic test will be administered. The test results will be used throughout your process.
HR will walk through your test results with you and discuss how they apply to you specifically. Be prepared to discuss details of your past experiences, successes and challenges. The focus will be on your previous roles and determining your fit with the MMC team.
Case interviews (3–4)
Case interviews are designed to test your aptitude for thinking in a rational and structured manner to solve complex and sometimes ambiguous challenges. The interviewer will focus on your ability to: Structure your thoughts; Identify and prioritise issues; Understand data, findings and reflect on their implications; Communicate in a structured and coherent manner – sometimes under pressure. During the interview you will also be asked will get the opportunity to ask questions about the team and will likewise be questioned on your motivation for joining MMC and your previous qualifications. As a cultural fit with both the A.P. Moller - Maersk and the MMC team is very important to us, this is also where we will evaluate how you fit in with both.
